Artist statement:
My work is my personal evaluation and realization of what has been, what is, and what could be, often exploring themes around identity and deconstruction. Understanding who we are by our actions and experiences cannot be fully accomplished without an openness to experience and reflect; an awareness of smaller and larger moments, decisions, events; their residual effects, as well as their conducting of transformation. As part of my journey in this world, I feel a need for this openness toward the questions at hand, allowing them to lead me to whatever spaces, materials, and objects that serve these narratives.
